Update: I’ve been watching MW’s ranking and it’s just behind ‘Pocket Tanks’ in Games >Strategy. PT is in the top 100 games, so MW must be nearly there as well! Thanks to everyone who’s helped so far- and if you haven’t done anything yet, please please do!
Magic Wars has just had a great article written by techcrunch.com (thanks to the ppl who left such nice comments!)
As a single developer, I don’t have any money to spend on advertising MW so i’m really relying on this kind of press to help the app grow.
My goal is to get Magic Wars into the Top 25 on the App Store, so I’m starting a campaign!
If you love the app, and want to see it succeed- you can help out! If you can do anything to help Magic Wars get noticed and popular- do it!

Just got an idea for said Ultimate Illusion: Creation (or Conjure). Essentially it would produce an item out of thin air.
Also: Add Me! After I finish learning Decay, I need 600 Circle to learn another spell!!!

Is there an advantage in using new spells? Why not just perfect mood? I wish the point system was much more clear during and after battles. Point wise. Also after battles we should be able to see what percentages our enemies scored.
I just don’t know which spell to use? Are some more effective versus others for certain spells? What about light vs dark? I don’t understand the dynamics at all into what goes into winning a match.

I get mine at 6 PM every day, but since I already have 30+ free training sessions, it doesn’t matter that much.

Post your rune on the web (post it here would be a good start) If you see anyone else’s rune about, join their circle. And be polite- join the circles of those who’ve joined yours

Posting your number on here does not work at all. No one bothers to add you. The most effective way is sending out messages. Now getting 3000 people is impossible using this number thing. You seriously need to consider simplifying this circle rune idea. Either that or lower these outrageous circle counts.

I’m going to say Lower The Bars; not even our 2 most experienced users, Tiger and Oli, don’t have the capacity to learn Memory.

Ive learned memory and I can learn shapeshift. My friend can already learn psychic blast… but im afraid after that you need 3000 which there is no way im getting another 2000 people lol

I think the directions are wrong for light it says to make the arrow then draw the line and when I did that I only got 34%, but when I draw the line then the arrow I consistently get above 80% and this is when I’m dueling.

Try moving your device faster; it works for me. I get 100s consistently for Light.

How about making it crash the opposing wizards game? memory could erase the enemies duel request menu or something like that. That’d be really cool if some spells actually did something lol. I agree with wizard… I don’t really feel like spending a long long time just to get be able to make a triangle with my ipod.

I think that game is alot of fun!! I give you big props. There is a few bugs that need to be fixed. I can’t wait till the new version comes out. I hope they add the ability to add pictures once you have started playing. the game either freezes or shuts down please add sound and ability to to have more spells without having to spend so much gold. Overall I am very impressed with game. thank you.

Sure it means more but the time and effort it takes to learn ONE spell is rediculous! It would take days! People don’t want to spend that long just to be able to make a triangle with their iPod. Now if the spell did something lol other than saying oh you just erased their memory then it would be more worth while.

You really need to make the gameplay better especially those high level spells… If you want to get top 25 lol. People give up when they reach the higher levels that’s for sure. Good luck!

Some people do give up, that’s true, but I’ve dueled plenty of players at level 7 with Curses and Illusions.
Because it’s harder, it means more when you get there. At least, that’s my opinion. What do you think?

I’ve had the same type of experience, I just reached Level 7, and I think a few things are missing: we have Possession, the ultimate curse (unless “Kill” is added), Time Travel, the ultimate charm, and Telekinesis, the ultimate hex. Where’s the ultimate Illusion?
Also, at least one attack should involve a dragon. One may already, but I had to be sure.
One more thing: New bug. When I finished learning Love, it didn’t register as learned until I took one more class. The same thing happened later with Weather.
